The WooCommerce Traverse Price Configurator was developed for an online store that sells made-to-measure traverse products.
The solution calculates the price automatically based on the selected variant and the length entered by the customer, removing the need for manual calculations and multiple product variations. It was designed to make ordering simpler and give customers a clear product configuration experience.
The main objective was to build a flexible product configuration system that could calculate the final price from the dimensions entered by the customer.
The project also focused on a complete WooCommerce integration, so the configured information would be saved and displayed correctly in the cart, checkout and final order.
A custom WooCommerce configurator was developed, allowing customers to select product dimensions and calculate the price in real time.
The solution includes a configurable price per linear metre, intuitive length controls with minimum and maximum limits, customizable price suffixes, automatic transfer of configuration data to the cart and optimized order data management.
Customers can personalize the product dimensions directly on the product page and see the final price immediately.
The ordering experience is simpler and more intuitive, redundant information is removed from the cart and orders, and WooCommerce stores can sell variable-dimension products without separate variations for every possible size.
